This superior piece reflects the Luba’s frequent use of twins in their sculpture.  It has wonderful color and patination. It has some age and is magnificently carved. The Luba style is one of curves, gentleness and harmony.  Note the serene facial expressions and superb proportions, as well as the excellent balance of the piece.
